lake stevens farmers market - 2026 update

After six incredible seasons, the Lake Stevens Farmers Market will be taking a hiatus for the 2026 season.

This decision was not made lightly. Ongoing and unresolved challenges with the City of Lake Stevens, combined with planned construction and continued development in the already congested North Cove Park area, have made it impossible to operate the market in a way that aligns with our values, standards, and commitment to our vendors and community.

While the circumstances leading to this pause are difficult, what remains deeply meaningful is the overwhelming support we have received from our neighbors, shoppers, vendors, musicians, and small businesses over the past six years. Together, we proved that Lake Stevens wanted — and deserved — access to fresh, locally grown and locally made goods, and a space that fostered connection, creativity, and community.

It’s also important to acknowledge that much of the work required to build, manage, and sustain the Lake Stevens Farmers Market over these six years was carried primarily by one person, supported by a small but mighty group of helpers who believed in the vision. Their dedication, countless unpaid hours, and shared passion brought this market to life and kept it going season after season.

We are incredibly proud of what was created here and grateful to everyone who showed up, week after week, to support local farmers, makers, and musicians. This pause does not erase the impact the market has had — or the community it helped build.

We will share updates if circumstances change. For now, thank you for six unforgettable years.

With gratitude,
The Lake Stevens Farmers Market Team
